Outdoor Space Design
Turn your patio into a living room.
The outdoor living room is the next step in Swiss living culture. Patio heaters, LED ambience, side walls for privacy, a louvered roof for weather protection — and your terrace becomes the favorite space in the house.
Terrace ≠ living room
Why most Swiss patios are underused.
Not because they’re poorly designed — but because they lack the qualities of a living room: shelter, light, privacy, atmosphere.
Too open, not very intimate
An open terrace may look great, but it leaves you feeling exposed. Neighbors, the street, the weather—nothing is truly protected.
No evening ambiance
Without lighting, the patio is dark from 9 p.m. onwards. Sitting outside becomes unpleasant, and you end up going back inside.
Not dominant in the space
A terrace without a frame is just a floor covering with furniture. No roof structure, no sense of space.
You get all that with a pergola — and a few smart add-ons.
The transformation
From patio to living room in 6 steps.
A SkyPergola sets the scene. Add patio heaters, LED lighting, side walls, and your outdoor furniture becomes your main living space setup.
-
The roof: Louvers Rotatable and closable. Sun protection, rain protection, a view of the sky — depending on the time of day and your mood.
-
Lighting: LED ambient lighting Dimmable LED in the frame (Pro) or frame + louvers (Lite). Warm white for a cozy feel, daylight for active use.
-
The side walls: Privacy Glass side walls or fabric louvers create privacy — you choose when you want to be visible and when you don’t.

For a 3 x 4 m pergola, 12 frame LEDs come as standard. With louver LEDs (Lite only), you add a second, indirect layer of light — making the difference between a patio and a living room.
For privacy: yes, absolutely. If neighbors can see in or the patio borders the garden, glass walls are the upgrade that turns a patio into a living room.
No. Even in summer, it cools down in the evening, especially in September. Patio heaters extend your evenings by 2–3 hours — even in July.
In the consultation, we focus on exactly that. The color of the posts, the connection to the façade, the slat orientation—everything is tailored to your home.
